Looking Back at some Self Portraits

I take a few self portraits every now and then as a way to commemorate milestones in my life, and as a way of documenting my growth both as an individual and as an artist. Here are some portraits I've created along the way.

At 22 January 2013 My first birthday self portrait (and the start of a yearly tradition) The way I felt wearing that flower crown - watching the Little Mermaid, painting with my new easel, giddy after just picking up strawberries to go with my birthday cake.

It's amazing that I can remember each feeling I felt for each of these portraits. They're like mini time capsules. I'm so glad I have these memories to look back on.
